This could appear like a glaring query but we frequently come across confused single Christians wondering if God wants them to get married or with wrong concepts about why they should get hitched. In this piece we may try to give some clear guidance to all single Christians who are starting the dating process and are wishing to know the right motivations they should have per marriage. Single Christians might have to overcome a burden of guilt referring to desiring to be in a loving relationship.
This will have come up thru a sense of unworthiness or absence of self-image: I do not merit to be married, God does not really like me enough to find me a partner or similar thoughts. The reality is that, direct from the start, God hasn't wanted folks to be alone. Adam was the 1st human being God made and he suspected that Adam shouldn't be on his very own, in truth it was actually the first thing God announced wasn't good when the rest in the garden of Eden was perfect. Hence if God's purpose for his creation was for them not being alone then we are able to ensure that he hasn't modified and he wants everybody to get married like Adam was.
Naturally we now live in a fallen world and God's plan for wedding won't be perfected in all our lives the same as any of His might not be perfected. This is no reason not to chase them though. Such a lot of the Dominion of Almighty God is founded on relationship (maybe the whole thing) and wedding inside God's plan is at its heart. The Bible announces that wedding is a mystery that mirrors Christ's relationship with His Church. If this was the best illustration St Paul could use then certainly wedding is a major thing for Christians. The New Testament asserts that folks should marry to avoid falling into immorality. Wedding is the number 1 place for intimacy as it is a committed and sanctified relationship.
Folks go into marriage needing that security from being with their partners. Intimacy outside this is transient and dangerous both emotionally and physically and doesn't carry God's blessing. Christians shouldn't be afraid of intimacy and consider it somehow non-spiritual, the reality is that it's terribly religious and can offer great healing inside a wedding. Single Christians should seriously consider their own need for true intimacy before they begin dating, as this shouldn't become a shock to them after they get wed. God wants single Christians to wed as he wants kids to be born into the Christian community.
We mention this ultimately as we suspect the relationship facets of wedding should be thought about first. If the relationship motivations aren't right then having youngsters won't fix things.
So there are several real reasons why single Christians should be very happy to seek wedding without feeling self-centered or guilty. Looking for what's good for one's life isn't to be criticized and folks should inspire others hoping to improve the standard of their lives thru a married relationship.
